Emma Client is working

 

Only those who have started the Emma Client after today's release (after 11:00 CET) have to follow the instructions below:

There are two options depending on if you want to keep downloaded services or not.
Reinstalling Emma without keeping downloaded services
1. Restart computer.
2. Uninstall Emma.
3. Download and install Emma. (http://software.sonymobile.com/emma/)
4. Start Emma.

Reinstalling Emma and keeping downloaded services

1. Restart computer.
2. Move (or copy) db and localstorage folders from Emma installation folder to a temporary folder:
- For example C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony Mobile\Emma\db to C:\tmp\db
- For example C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony Mobile\Emma\localstorage to C:\tmp\localstorage
3. Uninstall Emma client.
4. Download and install Emma but DO NOT START EMMA until step 6.

5. Move (or copy) db and localstorage folders from temporary folder to Emma installation folder:
- For example C:\tmp\db to C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony Mobile\Emma\db
- For example C:\tmp\localstorage to C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony Mobile\Emma\localstorage
6. Start Emma.
This issue has been solved.
